I had a fantastic stay at the hotel! The rooms were done to a high standard, and the beds were super comfy. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back. However, my room was a bit dull with very little natural light, as there was no window, just some secondary daylight coming in from the bathroom. The view over the harbor from the Buchanan room was stunning!

The service was top-notch! The staff were great, and a true credit to the hotel. I appreciated how they stepped in to serve breakfast when a staff member failed to turn up. Room service and housekeeping were excellent.

The location was perfect! My room had a fantastic view of the sea and port. It was so nice to watch the beautiful sunset, even with a chill in the air, thanks to the really effective outdoor heaters. The only downside was that it didn't really match the property/area.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was good overall. The food was reasonably priced, but there were a few things missing from the menu. I also found it unusual to have a restricting time slot for meals that I haven't encountered in other hotels.
Facilities
The facilities were good, though there were some small meals. Overall, it was a positive experience, and the value for money was decent.

The hotel had very comfy and beautifully decorated rooms, with a window seat in a large bay window looking out over the port. Despite a previous leak from the room above, the accommodation was to a high standard with comfy beds, making me want to return for another stay. The service was very helpful overall, although there was a delay in the promised owner callback for a discount or refund. The location was quiet and peaceful, offering stunning views of the water and the village of Portpatrick. Nonetheless, the views of the harbour were excellent. The hotel's facilities overall were good.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were extremely homely and comfortable, with the added bonus of window seats that offered a wonderful view over the harbor. The food in the bar was not only tasty but also great value for money. However, I did notice that some areas had not been dusted properly and there were cobwebs around. Also, having a portable fan in the room was a nice touch.
